The NP2.1-12 battery must not be suspended by the handles, each cell is fitted with a low-pressure release valve to allow gasses to escape. Do not place this battery inside a sealed container as it releases hydrogen gas which can be explosive. When removing or replacing the NP2.1-12, it must be recycled according to local and national laws and regulations. Part of Yuasa’s industrial valve regulated lead-acid battery range, this battery is used in emergency lighting, alarm systems, UPS and many other backup power systems.
