This System Sensor W5A-RP01SG-K013-01 is specifically designed to be used on System Sensor Protocol Fire Alarm Control Panels. The unit is designed to give a manual signal to the System Sensor Fire Alarm Control panel which will operate the fire alarm system. This unit is IP67 rated.
This unit features an integral loop isolator built into the device.
These units are based on the industry standard KAC manual call point. They have been designed specifically to give installation efficiency, flexibility and compliance with the latest standards.
The System Sensor W5A-RP01SG-K013-01 features an Integral LED. This LED will illuminate once the break glass unit has been operated. This feature allows easy identification as to which System Sensor Manual Call Point Break Glass has been operated.
The System Sensor Manual Call Point Break Glass Unit features a unique 'plug and play' concept that is designed specifically to reduce installation time by using a terminal block which can be wired during the initial installation cabling with a link to provide continuity for testing. During the commissioning phase, the links are removed and the terminal block is simply inserted into the connector at the back of the unit. No re-termination is required.
The System Sensor W5A-RP01SG-K013-01 uses one of 99 possible addresses which is simply 'dialled in' using the two rotary decade switches on the rear of the unit.
A specialist test key may be inserted into the bottom of the unit to lower the glass and release the micro-switch and thus a full functional test is achieved.
