Description of the System Sensor 22051TE
The System Sensor Multi Criteria Detector 22051TE is an analogue addressable plug in fire detector, consisting of a photo-optical sensing chamber and a heat detector controlled by a microprocessor. It is the new optical smoke detector out of the Series 200 Advanced range. The Series 200 Advanced range incorporates the new digital Series 200 Advanced Protocol which offers the possibility of having more devices on the loop and a better control, configurability and device management.
Many years of research by System Sensor result in a new revolutionary detection chamber design. This features an improved detection across multiple types of fire, improved resilience to false alarms through dust and lower risk of false alarms through insect ingress and other debris. The multi-sensor 22051TE Photo Thermal detector uses thermal assistance to the core photoelectric smoke detector to give enhanced false alarm immunity and faster response to a wide range of incipient fires. The plug-in unit combines two separate sensing elements that are managed by embedded software to act as a single unit.
The 22051TE System Sensor Multi Criteria Detector incorporates two tri-colour LEDs which indicate the sensor status around the area where the detector has been mounted. The LEDs are programmable with static or blinking red, amber and green status indications available.
Each System Sensor Multi Criteria Detector (22051TE) gets its individual loop address assigned by the rotary decade address switches. These switches are located on the rear of the sensor. The use of decimal address codes is easy and reduces the input of incorrect addresses.
All Series 200 Advanced detectors are environmentally friendly and meet the WEEE and RoHS legislative requirements.
