Notifier Opal Detectors

The new range of Notifier Detectors is now available and is called the Opal range.  The devices have replaced the now obsolete SDX and FDX range of Analogue Addressable smoke and heat detectors.

This new range offers several advantages over the older notifier range of detectors.  These advantages are as follows:-

  • Available with Built-In Isolators which makes installation easier as isolator bases are no longer needed.
  • The feature Tri-Coloured LEDs which can give more detailed information to engineers and end users.
  • The Opal range of detectors are available in a Pure White colour which is more suitable for modern installations than the Ivory detectors.
  • The Notifier Range of Opal Detectors are LPCB Approved.
  • The Opal range is backwards compatible and can be used on existing Notifier Fire Alarm System installations.
