Notifier have announced the obsolescence of theit AVAX Sounder and Beacon range which becomes effective from the 14th of June 2013. This range of devices has been replaced by the New OPAL range of sounders and beacons which have been introduced already to replace the AVAX range of devices. This is a guide to help provide information onto which OPAL devices should be used to replace AVAX devices on existing Notifier analogue addressable fire alarm systems.

Please note:-

The New OPAL range of equipment now uses the B501AP terminal plates. Whereas the AVAX range of equipment used the LPBW terminal plates. Should you be replacing any existing AVAX devices with new OPAL devices the terminal plate would also need to be changed.
