Haes Conventional Fire Alarm Panel To Be Networkable From March 2015
Haes have recently announced that panels within their conventional fire alarm panel range will be networkable from March 2015.

From 1st March 2015 all Excel-EN & Excel-32 panels will be rolled out with v4.0 software which includes networking as standard.
Up to 8 control panels can be networked in a fault tolerant loop using RS485 communications.
Any combination of panel size can be used from 2 to 32 zones and in any order.
In addition to the 8 control panels up to 8 repeaters or LCD display units can be added to the network.
A standard comms PCB is required to be fitted in each panel to be added to the network.
The new XL-RDU remote display unit can be used to display and control up to 256 zones in a network system including applying test modes and disablements to zones or sounders as well as standard silence and reset functions.
